Behind the scenes:
Months of planning and preparation have gone into making these experiences possible. We work closely with the Foreign and Commonwealth Office in everything that we do. We feel that this is just one of things that sets us apart and goes to ensure that each experience we offer is a success with everyone.
A quick check list:
Passports & Visas As a general rule all passports will need to be valid for 6 months after the end of the trip. The cost of visas does vary according to Nationalities and even then can be subject to change.
Medical Health Everyone should have a clean bill of health with no dental problems. Information on necessary vaccinations can be found at the Fit for Travel website.
Flights You will need to book your own flights, but please, contact us for advice on airlines operating services to Ghana if you have no luck through the internet or local travel agents.
Further information You will receive a detailed handbook containing all the useful information about the trip and inoculations once you have confirmed your booking.
Insurance All volunteers are required to have adequate insurance cover. Please contact us if you have any questions.
Safety while away You are required to have a comprehensive insurance policy. Ghana is a politically safe country and as a member of the Know before you go campaign, we monitor the Foreign and Commonwealth Office travel advice regularly.
