| In addition to working with the community you will also be working with other volunteers as part of a team, there is an application process and you will be offered a place on the expedition depending on your ability to work with other people and show initiative. |

One volunteer often recounts the same story or memory in a very different way to another volunteer, this diversity is so important in making a team effective, anyone can make a difference, all you have to ask yourself is whether you want to.
Everyone involved with the planning and running of our expeditions, the expedition leaders, UK & Overseas staff and consultants, have all travelled extensively throughout their lives across several continents. Their combined experience in planning specialist development expeditions, their expert knowledge and attention to detail contribute to the fantastic experience that is on offer.
