Fundraising
All successful applicants will receive a Project Expedition Handbook that contains lots of information regarding the expedition: a personal clothing list; medical information and much more. In addition you will be given detailed information on fundraising; ideas of events to organise, jobs to do and plenty of tried and tested ways that raise money. An Expedition Manager is on-hand to support and offer guidance throughout the build up period.

Preparation and training
Several months before the expedition departs we encourage all team members to attend one of our training courses. This is an important team-building day that offers everyone a chance to meet each other and get instruction on health and safety, how the expedition will run and the final preparation stages. Everyone is also expected to research the countries they are visiting in advance.

Once in-country
Every expedition will have a leader who is well trained and qualified for the expedition. There is also an in-country project manager, volunteer liaison manager and community liaison manager on hand to assist throughout the expedition.
