The hairdressing experience is based around one hair salon in Ghana, where the owner will deliver a masterclass on
each specific aspect or styling technique. UK students will watch the masterclass, ask questions and take notes
which they will use later as they practice what they have seen. Once the demonstration has taken place, students
will be assigned a Ghanaian junior/trainee who they will shadow. After the junior/trainee has completed a
demonstration the UK student will practice on their own model with the guidance of both their own Ghanaian
peer and the Salon Owner. |
