Information exchange

The partners agree a topic (such as "Weather" or "My journey to school")
on which they will collect and exchange information and possibly also the format in which it will be presented.
Main benefits:
- The information can be tailored to match curriculum requirements or the interests of a class or school
- It is a team effort which all can contribute to and benefit from
- It takes account of the problems inherent in individual correspondence.
Issues to consider:
- There may be a mismatch between the resources available to the different partners
- Need for clarity and good communication and negotiation in setting up the project
- It is inherently long-term, which has implications for the maintenance of interest and motivation.
